This no-cook tasty delight looks and feels luxurious.
- mini meringues 6p ea (use 2)
- toffee yoghurt 62p with balls 50 p without
- chocolate sauce 5p 10 g
- (optional) banana 16p
Simply place the yoghurt into your bowl with the chocolate balls to one side. If you are using a banana place the banana on top of the yoghurt. If you are using mini meringues put them on top of the toffee yoghurt mix. Squeeze your chocolate sauce, to and fro to create zig zags over the top.
The Total Cost per Person is 79 pence per person or 67p if you buy plain toffee without balls (add 16p to either one if you are using the banana)
Variation Ideas for Different Desserts: You can freeze the toffee yoghurt (without the chocolate balls) to make a healthy ice cream substitute. Add a banana to make a toffee banana boat.
Dieting Tips: Use a low or fat-free yoghurt (I used muller light with balls) to reduce calories and sugar. You can also use low calories sauces like Sweet Freedom.

- Fruit Yoghurt, raspberry or blackcurrant and raspberry 50 pence
- Frozen fruit strawberries and blueberries, slightly softened (4 to 6 bits of fruit) (approx 21p for 50g)
- 2 mini meringues 6p ea
- Chocolate sauce 5p 10 g

Chocolate Banana Boat
- 1 banana 16 pence
- Chocolate Ice cream (approx 20 pence per 90g serving)
- Chocolate sauce 5 pence for 10g
- Two chocolate pieces 20 pence (approx 6.3g)
Slice the banana lengthwise down the middle. Put onto plate or dish with the ice cream in the centre or at the side. Gently squeeze your chocolate sauce in a design along the top. Pop your chocolate pieces into the ice cream and serve.

Fruit Banana Boat or Platter

Slice your banana either down the middle or into discs. Add your raspberries down the side or into the centre. Add your apple pieces then your sauce.

Slice banana and add ice cream and sauce.

This no-cook Eton mess is so quick and easy to make and costs very little it will easily become a family favourite. It is also very versatile as you can change about and swap the ingredients to suit yourself. Add cream and sugar for those not on a diet or use a yoghurt for those that are.
- Strawberries crushed (leave one to decorate the top) (50p for 100g)
- Natural yoghurt 18 pence 100g

- mini marshmallows 12p (approx 25g)
- Raspberry sauce 5 pence for 10g
Simply crush up your meringues and mash your strawberries and pop them into a glass bowl mix in the rest of the ingredients.
